We can do a great set of heads for your 427. We can do basically any size chamber you would like from 59cc to a 72cc and we can also do any of these in a 4.125" bore size. Our flow is comparable to other OEM ported heads. They will come with REV 2.08"/1.60" valves, Patriot Gold Duals, Ti retainers, Super 7 locks, Viton seals all for only $1,195.00.

Jesus thats a hell of a deal on some sweet heads. Could save a grand over the AFR's and use it for a direct port nitrous kit!!!!

Where did you see that? Mamo's test? All but 3 cars on this board in the 7-8-9 sec 1/4 range use non-AFR's. TEA has proven track numbers for years....not just dyno queens. My friend LOST 11rwhp and took them back off-205's, the tea 2.5's were far better.

And for you to say TEA hasn't proven their heads is a very inaccurate statement. Phil97svt is just about in the 9's (10.00sec pass) on stock displacement. He put down 470 on the dyno with 5.3 stage 2.5's long before the 205's came out. That was with a cam remakably close to the one youre running now but mere XER lobes.

One other thing, why hasn't anyone reproduced Mamo's power on the dyno with the same heads/cam combo? Not even close. Your combo is not there even with a much bigger cam. Nice numbers by the way.

Read Tony Mamos comment in the following thread. "How does the intake manifold restrict air flow?"

Ask the shops that have built the most 427s, such as W2W, MTI, ARE, etc.

The new rockers and valves will soon be available also. Look in the LS2/LS7 section for part numbers.
We have not heard of very many who have these heads yet avaliable for sell to the public.gm parts direct is is NOT a LS1TECH sponser. The LS7 heads will soon be avaliable after the crate engine is released as well as all the other related components.Of course as a LS1 TECH sponser we will be very competive on avalibility and most importantly avaliable by phone for any tech knowledge and very competive freight rates that will offset the cost of doing buisness long distance. Thanks to everyone who supports us and has for the past 76years.

Well thanks for including the link did you see any test on the LS7 manifold? I didn't. I read that article and agree very much with port matching. I have the FAST 90/90. My comments were about the LS7.

Until its tested I'd also like to point out that that manifold wont even work with any AFR head or any head for that matter except the LS7 castings (only for a 4.125 bore mind you) due to the intake port shape so it isn't even in the running for most people.

I have no info on the LS7 intake or heads, but just "plain common sense tells me" it is a far better design for a large 427ci engine. If it wasn't GM would have never changed it. Going with the LS7 head and intake is a no brainer, performance and price wise.

FAST intake $700.00 vs. LS7 intake $251.50

Assembled AFR heads pair $2700.00 vs. Bare GM LS7 heads pair $1032.00

By going with the LS7 design he would have already saved $2000.00. Plenty left over for purchasing new matching valves, rockers, etc.

GOOD THINGS COME FOR THOSE WHO CAN WAIT !!! But for now I use nitrous.

I just wanted to mention that you have a good point, wont fit, too big of bore etc. It just so happens that the ls7 configuration fits well into our C5R style casting. we already produce the LS7 head for the large bore, and we are doing some programming modifications right now which proportionally shrinks the ports, chambers and valve locations to fit on the 4.00 and 3.900 bore engines, best part of all is that the LS7 manifold will still be a direct bolt on no matter what. Our LS7 heads will offer all the benifits of our cathederal port heads, thick deck, thick ports for additional porting upgrades and a better flowing exhaust port. The stock LS7 exhaust port only flows 215 without a pipe, ours flows 244 without a pipe. Our 4.125 version will use a 2.180-2.200 intake valve and our 4.00 bore version will use a 2.080-2.150 valve. I will post some pics later this month when we are done with the small bore version. they are avalible right now with a 3 week delivery from order. this will be a stout combination with a Scoggins 402 short block. Will probably make a bit more power than the factory LS7. So the guys who don't want to wait until they win the lottery and are able to buy a LS7, this woulod be a much cheaper alternative.

You also have to buy the LS7 pistons. Regular LS1 pistons will not work due to the different valve angle of the head. No biggie if you haven't bought pistons yet and do not want forged.

The diffrent valve angle would require pistons IF P/V was of concern. 95% of the people on the market aren't going to run a cam that would be large enough to cause contact. This is assuming that you gain the added clearence that the diffrent valve angle gives you. I'm not sure if the LS-7 valve angle will give you added clearence, but the 11 degree heads from ET added another .150" of clearence over a conventional LS-1 head. I would only assume that the LS-7 would be the same. It's something to ponder.

LS7 pistons are notched for the valves, and I'm sure any cam a person building up a LS7 will run is bigger than the factory one.
