ETP has there own casting of heads, just like AFR, edlebrock, ect. Search there recent thread as they've got all the specs, flow numbers, available options, pics, ect.

from what i've seen they look to be a really great head.

They have a new set of heads,
and the intake port volume to match any build.
I have the small 5.3 heads and look to upgrade to the new 225 head on my 346
for a 402 240 and an all out 427 would take the 265's

The c5r guys they have a head that flows way up there ,talk to Craig.

A less mentioned fact is the extra clearance at P to V from the design. 11* valves makes for less headache when swapping in larger cams.

Guys...

Our foundry kind of hung us up recently on the LS1 raw castings (a delay of over four weeks)....We are going to have a bunch of CNC machiines running 24-7 to catch up starting the end of this week and all thru the following weeks ahead. You will be seeing them shortly....feel free to check with your AFR sales Rep and have them do a status check. Production is very aware of LS1 back-orders and they will be expedited moving thru the shop.

Sorry about the delays...they will be worth the wait.

Tony M.

We have our own casting. It has nothing to do with anybody elses casting. We designed our own tooling to accomidate all of our different versions. We have revised coolant holes through the deck to minimize movement as well. Chamber volume is avalible from 35 to 74cc, without sacrificing the integrity of the deck.

I'm looking at doing a set of aftermarket castings, either AFR 225's or the ET heads that don't require shaft rockers.
