cam swap help what is NECCESSARY!?
cam (duh) 590/578
pushrods (7.4)
retainers (tit)
springs (918s)
need:
gaskets (which ones? individual ones please)
ls2 timing chain (might as well..only 30 bucks or so)
so..what else do i need? or is that everything there?
Cam
springs (retainers also depending if they require larger than stock)
crank bolt
That's all you really need to do a cam swap, also the motor oil and coolant, but that's a no-brainer. If your car is a '98, you will also need new water pump gaskets. You can re-use your valve cover gaskets, timing cover gasket, and front main seal if you are careful with them when re-installing everything.

whats up crab! puro STFB! LOL
You can re-use those gaskets, I don't think the '99 models came with the paper material gaskets. Good luck with the cam swap. Let me know if you need any help.
