porting oil pump, why not port block Im installing a new block, of course it deserved a P&P oil pump, wich is very sexy and curvaceous and aerodinnn.... ehem.... hydrodinamoc and eficient..... and $hit....
to be mated to a buch of holes drilled at 90deg with sharp edges, cut flashing.
has anyone ported and polished the turns in the oil path in the block, to keep in tune with the idea of porting the oil pump?

Yeh, there are posts here on this from mega years ago when we all first learned how crappie the stock pumps were.... I don;t think anyone has proven that polishing the insides makes a difference in volume or pressure - if I remember correctly...
GM did with 2000 (IIRC) and later blocks 
Well, not really porting but they removed an area in the rear side of the block.
I was thinking of opening up this area, but my shortblock is already assembled, and dont care to take it apart...again....
