Cylinder Wall Damage?

Cylinder Wall Damage? Please look at these pictures and tell me if my cylinder walls look OK? The hone marks are visible but what about the vertical "scratches"? What could cause this to happen?

I would say it is ok I have a older SBC that is the same way and it has a lot of piston to wall clearence. I think what causes that is the sides of piston, it also had the same markes on the pistons , the scratches on ours you could catch a nail on but still turns 9k like no tommorrow,

I've had less scuffing than that, almost none, on a 50k mile 383 stroker that was BEAT ON, BUT my 408 with 500 miles has some scuffing already. was wondering if it was a problem, guess not.
