Best DD cam for 01 Z06?

Best DD cam for 01 Z06?

Buying a stock 01 Z06 and curious what the best cam would be. Is it no different than the question for an fbod? I was going to install an F11 in my WS6 and I am giving that cam with the sale of the car, so wondering if thats still a good choice in an 01 Z06, or if there is bettre choices. Look for a mix between driveability and power not just all out power, but hoping to hit about 370-380rwhp without touching exhaust. Only other mod would be a CAI (Halltech, Blackwing etc)

jrp is correct. If you are not going to touch the exhaust then go with the cheatR cam.

A old beater and a big cam is what I vote for. I wouldn't do a little cam, I would look into other things like exhaust and intake.

Well I hear the stock exhaust on Z06's already flows pretty well, but after talking to some people I probably will do CAI, headers, X-pipe and cam. Stock catback is fine and not neccesaray to change in terms of power. Would like to see around 400rwhp and stil drive very nicely without having the expense of heads.

Would another F11 do the trick? Just wasn't sure if there were better choices for the LS6 or if it really wasn't any different than selecting a cam for an LS1 Fbody.

you'll just make better power than the rest of us b/c u have ls6 heads, but id go with the f13, thats what i would get if i were to get a cam b/c it idles well and makes about 400rwhp on a fbody u should see quite a bit more tho, good luck
