Default Help with new pump & cover

I just bought my SLP oil pump and put it on the car. The instructions say to have .020 between the oil pump and the front timing cover. The picture says to trim the cover right beside the oil seal but i think that its hitting the part that wraps around the pump. What do i need to grind? Im at a stand still right now so any advice would be great!!!!

Got it to work.... I ground down the areas in circled. It barely touches without a gasket and doesn't touch at all with. I didn't feel comfortable grinding down anymore. I radiused the ridge around the seal (arrow) but I don't think that was needed.

Hard to tell.... 50% of thickness of cover? I would grind, wash, test fit, grind, wash, test fit......kinda time consuming. A couple hrs maybe?
