if you want to know what my reasoning is on my decision to forget LME even exists feel free to PM me and i'll give them to ya. i'm going to refrain from posting these things as i don't want to "bash" a site sponsor in public forum. the reasons are definatly good....if i build a stroker i don't want to have to rebuild it in 2 months due to lack of attention to detail.

Im not here to start a flame war, but I will say this.
Which ever shop you choose, dont go based on who has the nicest or best CS. Go with who has built the strongest and most powerfull engine.

You mean like when everyone back in the day bought an ARE motor?
JK, I bought stuff from them too, way back when.

Thank you for the nice words and if you do have any specific or general questions feel free to ask me or call the shop. If you want to talk with me personally I am usually in a little after 1:30pm central time as I still teach at SAM in the mornings and eat lunch on my way to the shop at HPE. The only thing we run low on sometimes are the 6.0 blocks for the iron 408s but I do have several in stock right now. Basically we build each engine like it's going to go into one of our own cars and we have had especially good results with the iron block engines. I also now keep a supply of parts on hand for quicker turn around but we do everything we say we do so it still takes a little longer to put an engine together at our shop but we usually double and triple check everything. I think we have one of the best overall records out there on our 408s so far as I don't really know of even one that has had serious issues so far! You can also email me with any other info if it's easier for you. Thanks again for your interest.

I'd highly recommend HPE.
Erik and the entire crew was very helpful and informative when I ordered my shortblock through them.
One of, if not the, fastest turn arounds I've ever heard of.
