Just went and checked the AC. Nothing is wrong with it either. The noise is only at the top back driver side of the motor and its pissing me the F off.

Hey you guys my problem is still not fixed. But I was thinking that if the noise is coming from the top back of the motor by the driver side could it possible that its the stock fuel injector that is going bad? Does anyone had a fuel injector gone bad on them? and did it make alot of noise when its going out? I have alot of mods on my car and still has the stock injectors, how much HP can the stock injectors take and last?

Do you get any misfire codes? Usually injectors will always make a slight ticking noise (shouldn't be loud enough to hear from inside the car though). If an injector(s) goes bad or becomes clogged and causes misfire problems, that may cause noise like you describe. If your problem is an injector though, you would've thrown a misfire code by now. I installed a set that had couple of bad injectors and the miss was bad enough to set off the SES within the first 5 seconds of idling.
Do you have a stethoscope or a long screwdriver you can use to pinpoint where the noise is coming from?

I just installed my MS3 about 1 week ago. I got the same problem you do. I thought it was the o ring on the oil pump that was off but it was checked and my pump is fine. At this time I am assured the problem is going to be a bad STOCK lifter bleeding down. It scared the **** out of me but I am glad its not a spun bearing..... What does your oil pressure read?!?

The oil pressure is great, Idle is at 40, low throttle is at 60, and WOT is almost 80. I hope to God that its not the lifter. CAUSE THIS IS MY ONLY DAILY DRIVER!!!!!!

Okay the noise just disapeared. It has been 5 days since it happened last time. I don't understand if its a lifter problem will it just stops ticking or what? Do I still need to replace them if they don't make noise anymore?

We'll see Im going to give it another week, went to work right after the last post and it made that noise again, but this time it was just for a second when I started going off idel at a light and then it went away and did'nt happen again. Man this is getting on my nerves It keeps on messing with my mind, now when it does'nt make that noise Im still so tense and listen every single noise from the motor with the radio off at all times.

sorry to be this ridiculous, but a lifter sounds like a tick, tick, tick.
and a rod is more tock tock tock that shocks the whole engine (and your chilling bones)

if yourea decent wrench (spelling?) fan you should have a sthetoscope, or a long thin screwdriver.
press the stethoscope or screwdriver to a sidebolt of main cap, (the other side should be pressed to your ear (I`ve seen people pressed to the forehead), and then to the upper part of the head close to the intake, where the lifters are, or close to the water pump outlet to determine which side....

good luck!!!!

Oh yes its definately a TICK and Thank God its not a TOCK. I have used a screw driver and thats what it sounded like, its a TICK.
