bought Thunder racing's cam kit,
sent heads to TEA along with the springs and retainers that came with the cam kit. TEA assembled the heads and sent them back. I had everything but head gaskets/bolts which I got from SDPC. When it was all said and done I spent around $2300. I also saved alot of money by doing the install myself. Of course you can pick any cam you want to with the cam kit. HEAD/CAM ????? I HAVE A 2000 RAM AIR M6 WITH SLP LONGTUBES,LID,TB,MASS AIR,ASP PULLET,LS6 INTAKE.I HAVE SOME MONEY TO SPEND ON HEADS/CAM.IM LOOKING TO GET A SETUP THAT WILL PUSH ME TO 400+RWHP.IM LOOKING TO SPEND AROUND 1200-1500 ON THE HEADS(2000-2300 WITH CAM)IS THERE A PACKAGE THAT WILL ACHIEVE WHAT IM LOOKING FOR.IM ALSO LOOKING FOR A CAM WITH A GOOD IDLE.

Re: HEAD/CAM ????? For that kind of money you'll have a hard time finding a quality set of S2 heads, unless you buy a used set. You might want to consider a set of Absolute Speed Stage 1x heads. They have relatively small 208 cc ports & stock-sized valves, but will still flow 293 CFM intake, 225 or so exhaust. They are a board sponsor, and give excellent service.
