Default Torquer II is in!

I just got my Torquer 2 cam installed today and I couldnt be happier It fired right up with good oil pressure and was surprisingly pretty easy to idle . The driveability is much better than what everyone told me it would be like

I fired it up and took a few short cruises around the block then about 15 minutes later I drove 40 miles through stop and go traffic with it, I did stall it three times but after tuning this cam is going to be completely driveable; it feels as if i havent lost much if any low end too

Big thumbs up to the guys at TSP I love the way this thing sounds at idle, its got a real nice lope to it but still isnt too radical at the same time. I know I have to get sound clips and believe me, i'll be working on it

I have an off the shelf Comp Grind 232/234 .595/.598 I installed about a month ago. I have been tuning it this past week. All I can say is tuning will wake the beast. The cam is the best of low, mid, and peak power. I still have to add in timing and PE tuning, but just part throttle tuning has helped idling and low rpm cruising.

I hope to get a sound clip soon. It sounds deep and aggressive at light throttle and just roars at anything above 3 grand.

Congrats on the install and Good luck with tuning. Let us know how it does.

I have the same cam also. Just bought it 2 weeks ago and had it installed within the next few days. When I went to get it tuned, the a/f wasnt too far off (13.5, now its 12.7-12.8). It needed a little help on idling, idles fine now for the most part, and only took it to 6400 on the dyno... made 375/364. It's a great cam, I like it so far. Heads, and a ls6 intake are on the list but not happening this year

I hope it does. clutch/flywheel/slave, etc is first on the list (its slipping pretty good now that I've dogged it pretty good), ls6 intake, then suspension mods.
