Default timing chain

my timing chain broke a little while back and i have since then replaced it and went back and checked myself over five times and it still wont fire! any suggestions?

if your timing chain broke, its most likely that you have a few bent valves. that might be the reason for the no start

It isn't likely, it IS. Don't, I repeat, DON'T!!! turn it over anymore until you take the heads off and see how much damage you've caused. There are many different ways to check for bent valves, but a broken timing chain just seals the deal. It's done, it's diagnosed, start wrenching.


...Just out of curiosity, how, or what, broke your timing chain to begin with?

I don't see how you could break the timing chain and not bend/break some valves. You need to tear it down and hope those heads didn't get too tore up also. Good time for an upgrade though.
