Uh huh...
LS1 is the engine in your 2002 Z28, a 346CI aluminum block Gen 3 V8, first seen in the 1997 Corvette.
LS6 is the engine in the 2001-2004 Corvette Z06. 2001 was rated at 385 HP 2002+ was rated at 405 HP.
You know, there is a search feature on the web site.

LOL thanks for the tip but it doesnt work.Atleast not when i tried it.I just tried the search again & it cant find page!!
Anyways thanks for the info.I was correct in the 346 ci displacement. We figured the ls-6 was the z06 ......My son & I have been working on his LT-1 infamous distributor all day today. Its been one problem after another. From special tools to broke off bolts to opening the new dist & finding the one I got doesnt have a second vaccuum spot like the original.Musta gave me a diff year.Been a real B_tch from the start.Water pump went & since i had it off I figured to do the maintance on that dist since car has 90k orig distributor.Omg what a nightmare!!Glad my car did away with that goofy setup!
