What does it mean when it says 112+2 or different numbers

The 112 is the LSA (Lobe Seperation Angle) and the +2 is the amount of advance ground into the cam.

So for example if you have a 112 lobe seperation, u can degree it to maybe a 114

No, LSA and timing are two different things.
Read the cam sticky, and you'll see the difference

Actually the advance lowers where the power band will be at the cost of some top end. To find out the advance or retard you need to subtract the Intake Center Line of the cam from the Lobe Seperation Angle... So if the ICL is 110 and the LSA is 112 then that would be a +2 advance.

Retard does the opposite and moves the powerband up. With an adjustable timing chain you can advance or retard the cam with the preground advance and/or retard taken into account. Thus advancing it 2 degrees would give you a total of 4 degrees of advance on a +2 cam. That effectively adjusts the ICL...
