I had ordered ARP headbolts with my head cam setup, (which I'm about to attempt as a winter project) 'cause I wanted to reduce any possible problems. After reading many threads, I ended up biting the bullet and getting the the ARP studs! This is a NICE setup!!! And seems to eliminate the common problems associated with bolts. Personally if I wasn't so **** (I don't ever really plan on pullin' the head, but alot of the guys who do have to pull their heads don't exactly plan on it 
) I would have just gotten the GM tty. Go with the studs... They make ALOT of sense! just my .02

Hey guys, I have an opportunity to buy a used set or ARP 12pt studs(which will be pulled out for a motor swap to an LS2, so he needs the other set to fit that engine) for $175 shipped. Is it fine to buy these used? Or would you not recommend it? opinions?
