Lunatti B1 - need info.
I have since decided against this cam infavor of a slightly (much) bigger cam.
Since I am fairly limited in my cam knowledge - could someone give me some links to anywhere I could find information on this cam which I could use to help sell it.
I know the specs on it - but a lot of times that means not a whole lot so I was hoping to find anything slightly more detailed that is available.
Thanks for your help.
If you bought it used, how many miles did the original owner have on it, and how many did you put on it. If its more than a couple thousand, you might have a hard time selling it.
New, the B1 sells for $499.99 I THINK. Good luck in your quest to sell it!
<strong> There are people out there willing to pay for a used cam, but not everyone. The amount of miles on the cam will make a huge difference.

However, these cams are roller cams so mileage doesn't cause wear like with flat tappet cams. In fact, my stock cam with 32,000+ miles didn't show signs of wear.
MTI sells new B1's for $449, and other sponsors sell the Lunati version for ~ $380
Check the classified adds to get an idea what to ask for the cam.

Cam is in good shape - the orignal owner had a hair over 10K miles on the cam. I never installed it - it was bought about 3-4 months ago as an addition to my winter project plans but since then, I have decided to go bigger.
I orignally bought this cause of its mild/very streetable nature but since then and since I have decided to upgrade oher areas (12-bolt/clutch/gears), I figured I could afford to go bigger on the cam as well.
This cam is the ORIGNAL Lunatti B1 and in my buddies car - put out very nice numbers for a cam only car (390 RWHP). It apparently is a little more aggresive then the comparable Comp cam yet still requires very little (if any) tuning.
Asking price is $225 (what I paid) if anyone is interested or knows of anyone.
Will post here and on my club site (EFA) this afternoon.
Thanks for the info.

As for the Lunati version being more aggressive, I think some where and some where not, because Lunatic didn't have the best process control and more variation occured between cams than should have. I think this is why MTI switched to Comp, because Lunati had too much variance in what they shipped. So a same 221 cam might be 219.5 sometimes and 222.5 the next for example.
