Default power with this cam and these heads??

How much RWHP do you think this setup would make??

ls6 heads ported and polished by Bo White, milled for 10.75/1 and .038 quench
Cartek 224/228 566/566 113 cam
Dynatech supermaxx headers with cats.
ls6 intake
ported throttle body
asp pulley
tuned by me with hp tuners 2.0

This is on a 2000 WS6 m6.

500 at the crank? = Yes.
To the pavement? = No.

I bet with a really good tune maybe about 425-430 rwhp give or take 10 on either side.

That type of power seems to do the trick in most cases, and is a great accomplishment on stock displacement non-FI.

Are you going to run N2O with that cam? looks like a decent nitrous grind.

no im not going to run nitrous.i just wanted the extra 4* on the exhaust because im going to have cats on it.cant decide between 112 and 114 lsa though.cartek is 113 like stated above but dont want any surging or bucking whatsoever.i have hp tuners do you think a 112 on that grind could be tuned to run real smooth.

Yeah, I am sure it would take some patience but it really isn't that tough of a grind to not tame the idle.

The 114 will be more stockish on driveability and power will be close to what you would get with a 112 cam but if your gonna get all you can out of it get the 112. Cartek probably cuts theirs on the 113 to split the difference. AFR uses a simular profile so its a tried and true cam size for a 346 . Thanx for the opportunity redtail2426 , it will probably be my last set.
