Default Looking for bore thickness (ls6 / ls1)

I thought I have read somewhere that the LS1 block cannot be bored due to thin CYL walls. If you'd like to bore the block you need a ls6 or C5R block?

Anyone have the specs for the cyl wall thickness on these two engines.
I tried Googling and searching on here, but to no avail.. Looking for a comparison.. I

Thanx in advance!

Search alittle, but the jist is this. A 6.0 steel block be bored to AROUND 4.040 from the stock 4.00. It is the ONLY block that can be bored for any more than .008-.01. An LSX based aluminum block has to be resleeved for extra bore. The C5-R comes with a 4.125" bore standard.
