Since no one else responded..

I had a h/c in a stock shorblock, and then switched to a G5X4 in a built 346. Even now my setup now has a lot more drivetrain loss, it feels much quicker. I will be getting a dyno very soon to see what types of numbers it puts down. With a good tune, mine idles fine and I would do drive it daily, just not in bad weather.

I can't compare it to a G5X3 as I never owned one, but from what I have read, the people that switched from a X3 to a X4 loved it. They all sayed it makes more power all around. Louis from LG has stated that the X4 makes about 10rwhp over the X3.
Mines a A3, so your M6 should be a little more streetable.

I had also considered swapping to an X4 but didn't know if it would be worth the trouble. I haven't heard if the X4 likes the spray or not either. Need more info.

I went from the x3 to the x4. I like the sound and the more low end tq of the x4, but the x3 drove a lot better. I only picked up 5whp with my cutouts open. I am actually going back to the x3 (114lsa) for the vortech kit that I will be getting.

you should pick up 8-12, and a lot of midrange with it. Anything below 2000, well, just dont go there.

With a good tune, it should drive fine below there, but not everyone has access to a good tune.

If you want to PM me your combo details, I can go through your setup and see if it would be worth the change or not.

Thanks

Louis
