GTO Cam Specs/Suggestions??
Does anyone know what the stock cam specs are for the 2004 GTO A4?
Also, I was wondering if you could give me some ideas as far as a doing a cam swap, somthing thats not too radical.
I am gonna do the swap this spring. I am looking at a Vig 3200, Shif Kit and Servos, Springs and Rockers, and Long tubes. Any setups tips would be cool. Thanks

I'm going to tell you the same thing 90% of the others are going to tell you. "Not too radical" but good power is the TR224 on a 114 LSA. It's bad ***. I don't know of any headers for the Goat, but I'm sure they're out there. GL on your build.

Stock 01+ LS1 cam is rediculously small. The stats are in JRP's SuperFAQ, if you really want to know what the numbers are. Like others have said, the TR224 is a tested and proven camshaft that delivers good numbers, and great street manners.

I have an 04 GTO....getting ready to do a cam swap next weekend as long as all my parts arrive in time.
As for the stock specs of the goats cam.
2001 - 2002 Fbody
197/207 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.467" / 0.479" int/exh lift
116 LSA
Like stated above, the is rediculously small.
