I have a custom cam that my tuner and engine builder built for my needs, its big but will work with my spray!

DO you LS1 boys even know who the hell your talking about, lol Joe Overton has the fastest N/a 4th Generation F-body in the world. His little 388 runs down the 1/4 at 9.3 at 145MPH NA with stock style suspension, foot braking it cutting 1.27 60ft times. Basically he is the guy whoping up on all the Big bad LS1's Most H/c LT1 cars on stock bottem ends tend to run 11.50-11.80's on motor. He just done a 95 with a 100,000 mile+ stock LT1 shortblock and put some ported LT1 heads using the stock 1.94 intake and Exhuast valves with one of his custom Grinds and the car went 10.80's N/a with and auto car with 4:10's and a 3400 race weight, NO TRICKS. I believe Joe works ALONG with Crane in there Cam research program

He post every now and then. Look him up Joes94TA and BTW check his sig he has going on, lol you'll see what I am talking about.

As far as the specs, I wouldn't do Hours in and out OF R&D and just give up the information Freely you have to PAY TO PLAY.

If you had the cam, there is a way to find out the specs... I am sure of it. Maybe with a degree wheel and some serious number crunching or something.

Doesnt mean you cant find a shop that can grind cams and just hide the specs of someone elses R&D'ed creation. I think that you should be able to accurately tell someone what you have as far as heads, bolt-ons, and they can say "yes" it will work or "no" it won't. Secret cams seem to be a mystery for a reason.

I was kinda considering the T-Rex cam so this one is getting my attention. I suppose since it's called the T-Rex killer than it's probably a little more radical than the T-Rex cam but with the custom grind who knows. I e-mailed him before I read the description and noticed it said a custom grind so I figure that I won't get a response but it was worth a try. Does anyone run this cam to let us know how they like it and how it runs?

I just want to know if its not that much bigger than my T-Rex then Ill just leave it in. 5 or 10hp to me isnt worth a cam change to me but if its like 20 to 30hp more than the T-Rex thats a different story. I couldnt get any specs on the G5X4 so I didnt buy it.

Its not all that much lift, nothing like .640 lift or anything like that. Joe is not going to tell you the exact specs though. It does not sound stock, I can tell you this

LMAO! It doesnt take much for someone to have a cam read and post the specs. All these guys who think their keeping a secret crack me up. Now you have to have the cam in the first place, but after that its a peice of cake, and for everyone person trying to keep a secret there are 50 trying to find out what it is. Hahahaha cam secrets..

It would be harder for me to put my faith in a cam w/o seeing the specs. If I was debating between two cams and one released the specs and one didnt I'd probably go with the one that released them.

And honestly the best cam you could ever buy for your car would be a custom ground one detailed to fit your current setup and goals.
