I'm not sure why it wouldn't? I would expect that the idle speed would be raised to around 850.

I assume that LS6 intake has a fair amount influence on that. My guess is that a 110 ICL would still peak by 4800 and not give up much peak TQ, if any, and make a little better power up top. It would probably give up a bit on the bottom end though.
Yeah, more top end but less bottom end would probably be the result. One thing to note is that the exhaust valve will also open later. This may or may not be an issue, but generally speaking will result in less time to evacuate exhaust gases from the combustion chamber making his exhaust system that much more important. Once again that is generally speaking.

I am liking the idea of a 228°/224° @.595"/@.581" 110° LSA + 4° (106°IC), although I might still consider the 111° LSA +3° (108° IC). I am also eager to see what 777's 224° .568" 110° +4° will do.

DAP, sorry to thread jack but was reading the post and am looking for a cam for my truck. I have an 06 SS silverado with a 6.0 345/380. I was looking along the lines of the 224/224 and several companys make this cam with different lifts and lsa. My question is what lobes are better or what cam would i benefit from more. The motor is stock except for bolt ons & exhaust. Its a daily driver but want more power and torque. I also like the lope as long as its still driveable. You seem knowledgeable about these cam so thats why im asking. thanks for the help in advance.
