Do the smart thing and get the rear-end.

If you got the heads and said "well, I just won't launch hard." Temptation will get the better of you but why would you want to torture yourself like that anyways?

If you don't play this one safe you have a very good chance of ending up sorry when you hear "Snap!"

Another vote for the rear. You could go with the heads, but you'd only be able to pull 2.2 60' (if your lucky). With the rear, you'd be able to get 1.6 60 foot times, and that in my opinion will help you more than anything in your 1/4.

Pretty much unamimous for the rearend. I always believed there was a correct order to do things in, but for some reason I couldn't figure this one out myself. At first I was thinking that I didn't finish my cam job because usually heads and cam go together, but there is no rule that says that you absolutely have to get H/C done one after the other.

As I think about this, I should probably get a new clutch, after doing the rearend, before I think about heads.

Anyway, I appreciate the replies, and for setting me on the right path. Thanks!
