Found out why my motor developed..

Found out why my motor developed.. Since 2 track outtings ago my car developed a valve tick. I didnt really have time to figure it out and I assumed it was a bent valve. Took the engine out and when I removed the valve cover I found 3 rockers has lost their needle bearings. The sides were blownout and the needle bearings were in the oil pan.

Everything else looks to be ok. cam lobes are fine and the pushrods look good. Can't imagine how much power it was down, it went 10.12 @ 140.1 last time out with a slow 60'.

And there are people here that promote using the stock rockers...
Yes true but you must realize that Phil is probably pushing 600+ rwhp. IMO, the stockers are good for 400-500 rwhp. If someone isn't pushing those numbers why buy a set of 500 dollar rocker arms?
