Default Thicker Head Gasket, Lower Compression?

how much could i lower the compression if i got a thicker head gasket? would it be significant and advisable for running boost?

all depends on what your startin with and compression goals, but yes thicker head gaskets lower compression, but you cant go too thick under boost as the ability of the gasket to hold the pressure diminishes

you are much better off lowering compression with your pistons or combustion chambers.
