Will be nice once they get these in cars and see what kind of numbers it makes. Still 2-3 years out i think.

The flyer they are handing out says 3,799.99 for the 9.240 deck height, 3,999.99 for the 9.8 deck. Shows the 9.240 available in 4.00 or 4.125 bore.

With all the break throughs that are coming out now..........383's and 408's should be very inexpensive and obsolete. That's a good thing and a bad thing. Good that most LS1 guys will be able to afford a stroker motor, bad that only a few will have the beasts.

They did not list the max bore. They did list the sleeve thickness at .100 and the aluminum backing it up at .300min. I would guess on a NA engine you might see some 4.200 bore engines built.

I'm glad I held off on building a new motor!

In all seriousness, what kind of N/A pump gas (93 octane) power can be made with this? Maybe someone from W@W could get with me on it, I have been saving $$$ for years to build a killer setup. I was thinking about a 427 but it looks like this wouldn't cost a ton more.

Why do I have this feeling my cars about to get out of control?

Why would you want a taller deck height? I'm just trying to understand what it means. Thanks

taller deck would allow for more stroke wouldn't it?

it allows you to run a larger stroke w/o having the piston CH be so small the wrist pin is in the oil ring or pushing the pistons so far out the deck they'd hit the heads.

The SEMA show rep hinted that the 12 deg ones flow around 350 out of the box and will have 400 cfm potential with additional porting...
