Default how much $ do i need?

well im looking at getting a F13 cam, ls6 intake ,valvetrain upgrade(springs,ret. and pushrods),oil pump, 42# injectors, gaskets,and maybe a pulley. what kind of cash do i need to acheive this? I can do the install myself so i can save cash there, but how much will it cost and any recomendations on places to order my parts? (ex. intake from here, injectors from there etc.) also any recomendations on which springs to use as well as pushrods. all help will be appreciated.

Intake = $499
F13 = $389
Comp chromeoly pushrods = $119
Patriot Dual springs =$255
Ls2 Timing chain = $35
30#SVO Fuel Injectors (obserd to go any higher with this setup) = $281
ASP Harmonic Balancer Crank Pulley = $202
LS6 Ported Oil Pump = $149 + $5 O-ring
Valley Cover Gasket = $18
Harmonic Balancer bolt = $3.75

= $1955
+ $161.29 tax
_______
= $2116.29

Then you'll have to pay shipping.
Then you need lifter rods which are like 5 bucks from Home Depot Size = 5/8
you need a tool for the valve springs and $129 is the cheapest youll get one of those for
You need 6 quarts of oil, new dexcool and a crap load of rags. Probably extra Super 7 locks just in case unless you decide to get the PRC Dual springs.

So i'd say close to $2500 grand total to be safe if you do all the work yourself.

The Patriot Gold Duals are 255 and they include Ti retainers.

Futral Motorsports also has chromemoly pushrods for 99, may as well order them if you go with the Futral camshaft

SDPC2000 sells the whole gasket kit for 45 and it includes the metal water pump gasket AND a new balancer bolt.

^^^^all above underlined are links to sponsors who sell them.

I forgot Patriots come with Ti retainers, that's a better price, too.

Why get a whole gasket kit when all you really need is the valley cover gasket? Unless you were getting a new water pump?

FMS has a camshaft sale going on over at ls2.com. I think retainers, Dual spring kit, pushrods, and any of their cams for 699! i would jump all over that if i had the money.
