What am I going to need ? I'm going to be pulling my heads, cleaning them up a little and having them milled and fly-cutting. Am I going to be needing new head bolts ? Or will I be able to use my old ones ? Also, If I'm looking for 10.8:1-11.0:1 compression(stock compression right now) How much would be a good choice to mill ? What kind of gasket ? Thanks for the help
Get ARP studs. Then when you pull the heads off next time 'cause your milled heads are subpar to the heads on the market now, you can reuse them and put that money toward something else.

To determine how much you should mill, you have to know how much you're going to flycut in CC's.
I would keep the mill to a minimum, in order to keep maximum flow of the head.
BTW, you can send your heads to TEA and get a stage 1 port job for a really good price, if your heads allready have springs and such.
No more than $800 or so.
Stage 1 is a porting job with stock sized valves.

I also figured since I have the heads off, port them. Since you suggested the stage 1 port from TEA, that works for me. Thanks for your help.
