How about some dyno numbers now. My money is on the darts over gm cast ported heads.

id agree based on what bret said.

The more and more i learn about cylinder heads and fluids- the more i realize how stupid it is to measure anything on the engine based on cfm

the I.C.E. is a constant volume pump. Power product is based on mass flow rates. CFM is nothing more than velocity through the head with equal cross sections. Why CFM at a single pressure point?

IMO, CFM is only useful as a data point, not data results. But my opinion lacks creditials to hold much water.

The port we are on right now is 229cc runner I haven't seen the 205 version of the head yet so I have no idea what they flow.

interesting cast results. that is substantially lower than what dart advertises.

-3 @ 300
-15 @ 400
-14 @ 500
-5 @ 600

kinda dissapointing.

not bad ported numbers though.
