Default help

ok......here is the problem.
car 1. A 396 with 246/252 .615/.615 on a 110 LSA cam. crane double valve springs rated at .650 with steel retainers and stock rockers.

the hp just died at 6400 rpms. You can tell the cam has more in it but we are unable to determine why it is falling on it's face. we have two sceneros as to why this would be happening.

1. we think we are experiencing valve float at that rpm.

2 Due to the high ramp rates of this cam we are wondering if it is too much for a hydrolic set up?

Are those springs good enough for that cam....Are titanium retainers required....are stock rockers able to support that cam? any other thought as to why this is happening?
