Default queston on how throttle affects power

this is probly a stupid question, but something ive been wondering

ok lets say i put the car on the dyno got at WOT at 3500 im making 250HP (im pulling these numbers out of the air)

now my question is, is my motor always makeing 250 at 3500 all the time or only under WOT, if im at 1/2 throttle am im making less power

I would have to say less power at 1/2 throttle because the blade is acting as a restriction. Anyone else? lol

I always wondered the same thing. What about tq? its more important at cruise than hp, so how much does it affect it being at part throtle?

not just the blade also u have the TPS "Throttle Position Sensor"
wich translates the Throttle angle and it wont give the same power when going wot same as the 1/2 throttle

Only under WOT. if youre slowly rolling out of a parking spot, you migh only be making 30 HP. Pulling away from a light you might only be making 100 HP.

Of course it is putting out less power. You can tell by the pace of the acceleration between half and wot.

yes this is a very easy question, if you were making the same amount of hp at a certain rpm, and it didnt vary with the amount of throttle applied, you would be accelerating the same amount at any amount of throttle at that rpm. if you were making the 250hp at 1500rpm when your pulling into a parkin spot that would not be too good i think i said that right?
