We have tried out someone of this new stuff and it definitely gets rid of the problem with unlocked converters and RPM.

Jason:
It probably gets rid of the rpm reading error, but doesn't cure the fundemental problem of dynoing an unlocked converter. That is, due to the shift extension of the converter, you can not measure below 4500 - 5500 rpm. Therefore you do not have the ability to tune the midrange A/F ratio or test whether a mod is improving midrange torque and frequently you can not determine where the true torque peak is. Since an A4 lives off its 60' which is heavily influenced by torque at less than 4500 rpm, this is a major shortcoming that many A4 folks miss.
You 6-speed guys have it made.

I'm glad that you like the cam Corey! I knew you would. It thumps pretty nice at 840 RPM. If you are apprehensive of getting a fat stall like a 4,400, then a 3,500 stall would be NIIICE. I hear TCI makes a killer 3,500 stall.
roguevega - Just follow the link that Alex gave you, and that will give you all of the information on the cam packages that we have on special through tomorrow. Thanks Alex.
Joel - If I waited until I was bored to call you, then we wouldn't talk for another 10 years or so! Locking a converter is also pretty easy with a certain tool called a tranny tricker. It may be easier for the six-speed guys to tune on the dyno, but I'll still take my lowly A4 any day of the week.
Jason - It's good to hear that Dynojet will have new software to cure the RPM problem. We'll be ordering our dyno shortly, so I'll make sure we get it.

My 224r is actually being installed TODAY. Glad to see positive things about the cam as I wait for it to be done. Anyone have any negative points of view?? Just wanted to hear both sides.
