Harland Sharp 1.7 questions

I was looking into getting a set of these for my new motor, but i wanted to ask a few things first. Mostly, do you have to grind the heads/covers, even with the 1.7 ratio arms? Also, are there any other things that i should know about these before getting them?
From what we have seen, there is about a 50/50 shot at having to slightly clearance the head on the 1.7 N/A rockers. Most guys will have to do some work on the valve covers. The 1.7 Adjustable rockers, the head will need the pushrod hole opened up (which is already done on our heads), may have to perform some minor clearancing on the head, and the valve cover will need to be clearanced. You will need to change pushrod length when using these.

you need to change the pushrod length on the adjustables, correct? Or is this on both of them.
Also, i'm still workin on gettin the heads on so i can get some pictures of them installed.

Both adjustable and non-adjustable will require different pushrod lengths. We recommend that an adjustable pushrod be used to determine the correct geometry and length.

So replacing a stock set of 1.7 rocker arms to the Harland Sharp 1.7's will require a different length push rod? If not what all is needed to switch to the Harland Sharp rockers? Whats used from the factory set up?
Problem is not having the extra $$$ to spend the on a set of Jessel's...would this be the next best thing? I've heard prices anywhere from $349.99-$360.00...Not sure what all that includes? Any info will help thanks!

They come with everything you will need to install (less pushrods). The mount in pairs on pedestals which are in included. You will not use any part of your orignal rockers. These can be bought from many of our retailers, who are also sponsors------->

rjw...from what I've read they are a better piece overall from OEM with less deflection and of course less friction being a full roller set up. Some, not sure how much, modest HP gains...IMO just good insurance for a high spring pressure/cam set up and a damn good piece for the $$$ compared to other set ups (jessel, comp, etc.)

I got my Yella Terra 1.8 shaft mounted roller rockers from Thunder [$500.]. No muss no fuss. Used stock length chromemoly push rods and Comp 918 springs. Nice easy install and about a 18 hp gain.
That's the first I've heard of needing shorter pr's on the non-adjustable 1.7 Harland's. I didn't have any clearance issues on the stock heads or the Tea 5.3's. It's close though. I heard the "98 model heads have the clearance problems.
