The AFR 205s come stock with better springs than 918s. They're the same springs as PP Golds, PRC Duals and Manley duals. The 921s are a step up from that, but are not necessary with the mild cam you're talking about running.

That cam is mild enough that you should just use the stock AFR springs.

So dual springs would be way overkill, or safe insurance from valve float. I bought bare AFR 205 castings which are being worked over to 72cc, and built. I am looking to make some serious power here and I just want to be ready for it.

With that small of a cam the 918's would be fine but if you plan "to make some serious power" and go up in cam specs someday the 921's would be a good choice.

I wasn't refering to N/A power. Does it matter on the springs or is it all about lift in the camshaft?
