I am dropping a LS1 in my 73 Z28 and wanted to add a cam or 1.8 or so rockers to give the engine a few more HP before it goes in. I want to spend around or less than $500 and I already have a set of valve springs that are good up to .600. I will be stroking the motor in the future when the money is right again. I'd say save your money on the rockers and throw a cam in it instead, you'll realize more power for about the same money.
