Default Oil Pan With 408 question..

alright everyone... im just wondering my new 408 stroker will clear my oil pan??? i have heard it will but i figure i should probably check.. the car is a 2002 Z06 corvette. if it will not clear the pan where do i get another pan or where do i "modify" ?

I have built two of these engines so far and I am in the process of a third. If you are using an F-Body oil pan, check #1 rod clearance to the pan with the pan torqued. Rotate the crank and then remove the pan. Check where the dimple is in the pan for any scrape marks. Grind that area if needed. All three of the engines I've worked on have hit. Good luck with the build.
