Default LS6 head on LS1

Are there any problems with putting LS6 heads on an ls1?

I read an article that says the exhaust port moved .125 for better flow. Will my Pacesetter headers still work fine and bolt up? How about my LS1 intake, will that NEED to be upraded to the LS6 to work?

Here's the article I'm referring to:

A lot of people run ls6 heads on ls1's. Never heard of a problem.

The floor of the port was moved up to increase flow, the port itself was not moved.

I thought that this was actually fairly a common choice.

The article says you will have to use the LS6 intake and throttlebody with these heads.

Yeah, that's the wierd part. I've heard of people doing it too and with no problem. I'm sure the LS6 intake would work much better than my LS1, but I dunno if it's actually NEEDED to work.

Most people that are doing heads will most likely end up with a FAST intake or an LS6 anyway.
