Me too - I was hoping to hear about how much power the EDC cam did...

Sorry to hear about the motor, I'm on number 3.

For some it's the clutch, others the rear end and still others the tranny. I still have the original tranny and rearend, 4th clutch, 3rd motor. I feel your pain.

A little update, the motor is trashed, 402 or a 408 is going in. Can't disclose what happened yet, as it's still being figured out. Haven't had much time to work on it, Thanksgiving, etc, but it will be sorted out soon. Probably have a better idea next week (late in the week), but for now, I know it's done. Wasn't a rod bearing that's for sure.

Pretty bummed, didn't even get a chance to see what the new heads and cam would do, but the new setup will be pushing high 400's for sure

From the title It sounded like you totaled your car,but seeing that your now getting a 408 it looks like you will be making out in the long run. Good luck.

Yeah I hope to eventually hit 500rwhp NA, but I won't have the cash for a 90/90 setup right now, and will be scraping to get a good set of heads for it.

Yeah I know how you feel dude. I threw the rod on my dirtbike racing this kid that goes to my school for 20 bucks. I was screaming away from him when all of a sudden I felt a clunk and all the noise stoped and the back tire just locked up Sad part is I was going to walk him and ended up with $200+ in damages and -$20

What kind of springs did you use?
