Are those a 2.08 1.60 valve combo? How much power you make will come down to total parts combination and the tune. If your doing macs why not just use a full long tube header. Either way it is illegal in cali.

Is there any valid hp gains with long tubes over macs that are for real? On a stock cubed car , are the long tube going to make more hp and tq or just top end hp?

Still just wondering Richard what size head gasket to run with these heads. They're milled .030 in order to run 91 octane

Long tubes from any of the better companies will put down more power accross the entire rpm band over macs. It is like shifting the whole dyno graph up. There is a reason why you never hear about those with all the great long tubes out these days. Ground clearance was the reason to use them in the past.

As I recall, the chambers finished off at 61cc. That will get your c/r close to 11.0:1. I would suggest running a stock thickness gasket. The factory mls gaskets would work well in this case.

Good luck.
