Intrested to see what it make with those monster intake runners. They seem to big for a mild cammed 346.

If you run those HS rockers, you better have some excellent valve springs. Lots of people getting pre-mature valve float with them. I would recommend the stock rockers myself. It's what I run.

It was reported to me by the original customer that those heads made over 465rwhp on a stock LS6 bottom end with a G5-X3 cam. As I recall, he didn't have an electric water pump installed yet either. The car was dynoed at LAPD in Chatsworth.
You have plenty of room to grow your engine around those heads.

Happy hot rodding,

Richard

The heads came with PP new dual springs. Would those work?

Probably not good enough unless you shim them to within .050" of coil bind.

Stick with the stockers. The aftermarket rockers don't increase power and have shown to be a big pain in the ***. Stockers work great. I use them on my 422ci with no issues. Are those a 2.08 1.60 valve combo? How much power you make will come down to total parts combination and the tune. If your doing macs why not just use a full long tube header. Either way it is illegal in cali.
