Re: What is the difference in Cartek stage 2 heads? What I've always heard the Stage 2x heads refer to is more compression over the regular Stage 2. As far as I know, that is the only difference.

Look at the site, they have 2X for both LS6 and LS1 castings. It's something else.

Re: What is the difference in Cartek stage 2 heads? The Stage 2 vs. 2x also provides different levels or porting from what I understood talking with a cartek reseller. X-packages usually require flycutting of the pistons. Thats true of the LS1 and LS6 heads from what I understand.
