another p/s question most all the threads i have read about piston slap are on cold start up and it goes away after the engine warms up. my 02 ws6 does something what seems a little different. when i start it up it makes no noise for about 2 -3 minutes, then i can hear the knocking come in and it will do this till the engine is warm and then it is gone. it does this worse in warm weather than cold. it runs like a top, eats no oil, is this piston slap or something else. also when it is knocking i can hear it across the street, but if its that bad how could it not be eating oil and i have good oil pressure also
