cam install in central pa??
i am looking for good place to get a big cam installed in my 2000 camaro ss in central pa. anyone know of a good ls1 specialty shop? and how much it would cost? thanks

Check out Rapid Motorsports. Mikey did my cam install and I couldn't be happier with his work. Sorry, but I can't remember the cost break down for the work I had done. Just give him a call and he can give you all the information you need.

I just picked my car up from Rapid monday and its awesome so far 3 of my buddys have had either heads cam package or cam install done by Mike the cars run sweet and put out more power than expected!

You guys are wimps! Why do you think God made driveways and LS1s? Because they are made for each other. Try to change the cam in any other motor without have to remove the intake or heads. It ain't happening. The LS1 is a shadetree mechanics dream come true, notwithstanding the #8 sparkplug.

I'll throw my vote in for Mikey as well. He's a great guy to work with. I've never had him do any internal engine work but he's tuned 3 different setups on my car and i've seen him in action working on other cars. Quality work for sure.

rapid 346 dominator with AFR 225 heads, 236/240-114 Comp Cam with X-ER lobes, Kooks Longtubes, no cats, Fast intake and bunch of little things that don't make much power : )
