Exclamation Quick pistons QUESTION!

Hello Everyone,

Been trying to find this information for quite sometime to no avail....

Basically, have 2.055/1.57 valves on a stock deck LS6 castings. Couple questions.

1. What is the deck thickness of the STOCK pistons from a 2001 LS1.

2. What is the Maximum depth that you can cut into the piston and still retain integrity on a NA application with those 2.055/1.57 valves.

3. Someone in my post in the Advanced Tech section mentioned that you need to use valves that are 2 sizes larger then the one you have...what does that mean, and how does it affect the distance of flycutting?

Thanks,
Adrian
