Default Should I change Lifters?

I think I have decided to go with the Patriot LS6 Stage II Heads and either there 226/226 .585 or a 224/224 .563 by comp cams. I have 94,000 on the engine, Do yall think I should change lifters also. If so what kind and what brand has anyone used and had good results from? Thanks Fellas

I put a new set of stock ones in there whenever I changed mine. Just for the little extra insurance.

I would do it since you will have the heads off. Having that many miles on it.....would suck to have one go on you 2 months down the road. Ya never know.

That's just my thoughts....

I would change them too. Stock or Comp OE replacement 850-16's are good choices. Crane makes a stock replacement too, never used them though.

I have 96k on my 99 and have the comp 850-16s waiting to go in when I do my heads and cam in the next month or so. They are a wear part and are very easy to get to with the heads off, so I figure it will be cheap insurance for the next 96k.

My stock lifters let go at 88K and nearly ruined my cam. Id change them since youre already gonna be in there.
