Default Priming the oil pump

I am installing a new oil pump, is there any other way to prime it other than removing the intake manifold? what if i put a breaker bar on the crank hub and turn the motor over that way to prime it?

Once you put the new pump on, put everything back together except for the fuel liine, leave that disconnected. Pull the fuse for the fuel pump and crank the engine over until oil pressure starts registering. It could take a couple cranks of 10 seconds or so. Then put the fuse and fuel line back on and u're good to go.

Might want to disconect the coil pack (2 white conectors on each side) just to be safe.

Disconnect fuse for fuel pump
Disconnect coil pacs

Crank 2>3 times for a few seconds, you should see oil pressure.
