I think they will let you rent the tool, but your still gona need a head with the valve seat removed, and I know LG rents all of that.

We have quite a few "Dummy" heads that we use for flycutting. Much like any tool rental , we charge said amount, and refund ~ 75% of it back when you return the tool. I cant tell you how many people refuse to return it!

At anyrate, Give us a call- 972-429-1963. Mike, Anthony, or Bobby will get you squared away with what you need

In desperate circumstances, when only modest stock removal was necessary, I've resorted to grinding 'teeth' into the faces of slightly oversize scrap valves and using them as cutters in an un-modified head...

How did this work? I was going to do this but was having trouble finding the proper sized valve. My current plan is welding a piece of 1/4 inch steel plate to the end of a 6" 5/16 bolt, and turning it down to 2.125 on the lathe, then milling a rasp or coarse file like pattern on the cutter head. Ive got a small collar clamp to use as a stop against the valve guide to set cutting depth. Ill post pics when its finished.

It worked fine. (although I don't recall what the oversize intake valve was from.) For the exhaust in fact, much like you plan, I ended up brazing a small lathe tool bit across the head of the valve, set for the right diameter. I used a smaller valve so it would sit down inside the port, to clear the head at zero lift. In retrospect, it probably didn't need to be such a good alloy just to cut eight small moons in aluminum, but better safe than sorry...
