No it isn't. I used to go to the joint readiness training center for a month and left my car under a car port or in the unit parking lot. It isn't going to hurt it.

mine sat for a couple months after my hydroplanning accident without starting, hole in the oil pan, in this case it was better to let it sit, had to be sitting for at least 3 months without starting

got it back from the shop, had no problems

I left the motor in my camaro sit for about a year after it was wrecked and before I swapped it into my RX7. It started up fine the first time I cranked it.

lol
8 Months here only to find a dead battery. If you are going to leave the car for more than one month, unhook the negative side of the battery to help keep it from going dea

How long can an LS1 sit without running??? Years and years, man.

Starting it after years and years of sitting is another issue altogether.

Mine sat for three months. All I did was add some fuel stabilizer before I left and covered it. It started right up, no hesitation. No dead battery either.

Mine sat for 2 1/2 months in about 4" of water. I couldn't even get to it. All this happened during that damn hurricane. I thought it was totally flooded out but the big man up stairs said she will run another day. 3 weeks no problem at all.

Mine sat for a year when I was in Iraq. Fired right up with some jumper cables. Of course, the battery wouldn't hold the charge, but that was about it.
