Im putting together a 6.0 bored .30 over forged diamond pistions and rods with a magic stick cam with a 610 lift and a stock crank and ls6 intake. Right now I have ported ls1 heads with comp double springs. If I keep these heads does anyone have any recomendations on what I need done to these heads. please. or is there a cheaper solution. thanks

Suggest you call Brian at TEA. It's my understanding that matching the head to the cylinder bore will produce power and in particular unshrouding the valves to match the bore can produce even more. He can be a lot more helpful than I can. Can't hurt to ask.

You might also look into the new PRC ported Dart Castings. The Stage 3 version of the head flows 330cfm @ .600 & makes big flow #'s down low also. With price @ 1899 they'll be pretty hard to beat based off price & performance.

You definitely don't want to be using the stock LS1 heads on this setup. I would try and match the bore a bit better than those, something with at least a 4.000 bore. Stock 6.0 heads wouldn't be a bad place to start (not sure how much money you're looking to spend on porting).
