well the true dual is on of those things that i can hack off no prob. i dont wanna lower compression because i still want some gas mileage. i wanna be in teh 11 second club, so i can break up the f-body monopoly on it. haha.

Lol, I would say go high CR and get those things milled and stick an MS3 or a t-rex in it. You are gonna need like a 4000 stall and some 4.10's or 4.56's for that t-rex though. and some bad *** dual springs like patriot golds or Comp 921's. probably all of the above for the MS3 as well.

mite be too heavy duty for me. 4.10 would be killer on mileage lol. i was think 3.73s or so. im down for getting a higher stall just because it doesnt look like it affects daily driving so much.

nah, you will need to go get a dyno tune on it. that will most likely entail the tuning of the idle and your adjusting of the A/F. The more crap you have the better off you are with a tune anyway. If you did decide to go with the T-Rex please don't get a mail order tune... That is something that will take a handfull of pulls on the dyno to get running correctly. With that cam alone you will see 410+ rwhp and like 390 ish rwtq without heads...

lol. don't use the 1.8RR's with the T-rex unless you want your valves to become part of the pistons!!! Your stock 1.7's will work perfectly with that cam.
Just get the port work done (make sure they are credible) and don't take any material off the deck. You will need it for the clearance. PTV is already really close with T-rex and stock heads.
I would go with either EFI Live or HP Tuners honestly.

Holy ****....Alaska ehh? Well you got that PCM and engine and trans all as a whole from a 99 LS1 right? It is software that you can order online. If you have a laptop it is freaking handy.
Yeah a 9 might be a better choice anyway, but most of the tme you hear of people with M6 going the 9' route and A4 going the 12 bolt. That 9' can take a regular beat-down...don't worry about breaking it. 8.8 isnt a bad idea either. I say go with the cheapest one of those 2 that you can find.

well the engine will be a long block assembly the 4l60e i was thinking of buying off a trans shop and having them build it to handle 450hp and the 8.8 is outta an explorer so its cheaper, the axles are thick too. the computer will probly end up being a stand alone system and i have a conversion harness so ya. the stand alone will just be a blank ls1 computer that is programmable outta the box. i do have a laptop i can use.
